In reviewing my last message to you, I want to confirm that we have planned our 61st reunion to take place on September 17-19, 2021 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Grand Forks.  Since my last message to you confirming our reunion, I have been in contract with Lance Twedt, Central Class of '61.  He is planning a 60th reunion for his class this fall.  He has invited the Class of '60 to join our reunion with the Class of '61 over the same weekend in September in Grand Forks.  Because we were in the final stages of organizing our reunion last year when it was cancelled, Lance and I decided that we would combine the two classes into the schedule that the Class of '60 had already planned.  This would reduce the reunion time from Thursday to Sunday to Friday night to Sunday morning.

The two classes would combine for three activities for this weekend:  The no-host get together at the Hilton Garden Inn bar on Friday night; the banquet on Saturday night at the Hilton Garden Inn, and no-host breakfast on Sunday morning at the Hilton Garden Inn.  In addition, we will offer a golf game for those interested and a tour of Central High School. Other activities can be organized by each class if they so desire.  All expenses incurred by these three activities will be shared by the classes.   Other activities which may be scheduled will be the responsibility of each class.

Since the last Class of '60 reunion, we have lost two valued members of our organizing committee--Gayle Budge and Herb Helgeson.  I may be contacting some in the Grand Forks area to lend a hand with the planning and execution of our 60th reunion this fall.  Lance has also assured me that he will organize assistance from his classmates.   Hopefully, due to our preplanning that was completed before the cancellation due to COVID, the shortening of the reunion to three days and by combining with the Class of '61, this celebration has been fairly simple to organize.   Registration information is on the website and ready for classmates to register.  Information will also be sent by e-mail or mail. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or other input, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Stay well, stay safe, stay healthy, stay positive, and above all, stay with us.

Still Your President,

Dean Schroeder
