The 65th Class Reunion of the 1960 graduating class Grand Forks Central High School will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Grand Forks. The reunion will be held in the afternoon and evening of the 20th beginning around 2 p.m. and ending around 10 p.m. in the James Buchli Room at the Hotel. Non-alcoholic refreshments, including snacks and goodies will be provided throughout the reunion. The bar at the Hotel will open at 5 p.m. for those who wish to have an adult beverage. Don & Patty Rodningen have graciously agreed to provide appetizers in conjunction with the opening of the hotel bar.
It was decided to use a different format for the 65th reunion. We will not be providing meals, entertainment, or programs for this reunion and as a result, we plan to hold the entire celebration during one day. Classmembers are encouraged to contact friends and classmates to arrange activities such as Pot Luck meetings, athletic interest groups, car club groups, etc. There will not be a banquet; however, classmates may purchase meals at the restaurant in the hotel on Saturday night. We also plan to informally meet for breakfast on Sunday morning at the hotel.
As a result of shortening our celebration and providing fewer activities, there is no charge to register and attend. Please let us know if you plan to attend the reunion so we can do a better job of planning. Please contact us through the class website Central60.com (65th Class Reunion), email, phone calls, or letters to let us know that you will attend. If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact me through the website.
The Hilton Garden Inn has offered our classmates a discounted price for rooms at the hotel. This price is effective for both Friday, September 19th and Saturday, September 20th. Get your reservations as soon as possible as this also UND homecoming. Please click on the following link to reserve your room. The last day to book with the discounted prices is August 21, 2025.
Stay safe, stay well, and hope to see you in September.
Still Your President,
Dean Schroeder
