Dear Class of 1960! I just had the great pleasure of watching the Reunion video, and seeing so many of my hs classmates (even Belmont Grade School, in some instances. ) looking happy and enjoying, truly touched my heart. I do wish that I had been there with you to reminisce, and hope that some of us can visit even prior to 2020!! My memories are very vivid: I think growing up in GF was a real blessing. There was a great sense of security and a carefree feeling in our little town on the Red River! I especially enjoyed being in some of the Dwight Sherwood Musicals.....and wouldn't he be surprised to know that I am Tony Bennett's (since 1977) Chicago-based based publicist!! Music has always been one of my passions, even in hs. Our Potluck was such fun! Everyone so warm and loving, and it was always a treat to meet in each other's homes and share the sloppy joes and the jello molds, and.. of course...the chatter and a little gossip...even better than texting!! I am in touch with many of the "Go-For" Girls and we have remained lifelong friends! I was not at that infamous party....my parents probably wouldn't have allowed it; but do remember the Senior getaway at the Graham's cabin at Maple Lake!!!!!!!!! I have lived in Chicago since graduating from the U of Wisconsin... .as an Emmy Award winning TV talk show producer, theatre PR Director, and owner of my own entertainment PR firm since 1984! I love what I do, and continue to enjoy making the stars shine.! I married the love of my life, Dr. Paul "Pay-she" Krolik, DDS, and he was truly my prince charming and my Royal Canadian (originally from Winnipeg, but wevmet when he became my dentist! INany of you met him at the 2000 reunion. He was truly unforgettable! I lost my darling husband in July, 2094, after only 13 beautiful years together. It took me a while to adjust to this new normal, and feel like Debbie again. But here I am! It is possible to cherish your precious memories...to move forward and truly embrace life and smile again!
