Robert J. Pederson died December 15, 1998, in Grand Forks.  He owned and operated Scott's Inc. and Scott's Express trucking company.  His wife, Ruth Ferguson Pederson, Class of '61; sons Bret, Class of '81; Bradley, Class of '88; Brian, Community '87; three grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Pederson Damron, survive.  He was 56.
