William "Bill" Pond, 86,, of Bemidji, MN died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji. 

Bill was a Central High graduate of 1941 and a long-time band and music director at Central High School.  Bill was retired from the Grand Forks Public Schools and he and his wife, Joyce, were living in Bemidji, MN at the time of his death.
